Personality:

Like her mother Avalon, Sydney/Sailor Rigel, is very kind and likes to help people.  Sid also has the power to talk to animals. She is still pretty young, so a lot of the times she whines and complains, which really gets on Avalon's nerves.  Unlike Rini and Serena, Sydney and Avalon get along pretty dang well, and like to be in each others company.  Sydney likes to take her Sailor business seriously and tries to take after her mother. But when all the work is done Sydney likes to take it easy and have fun or talk to her animal friends!

History/Story:

Sydney doesn't show up for a while after Avalon and the others meet Sailor Moon and the gang.  When she does show up Avalon is freeked to find out she is her mother.  Sydney on the other hand recognizes her right away.  Sydney was sent from the future to help with the battle and learn how to become a better sailor soldier.  Sydney goes on telling everyone that her father is Neo from Jyran.  Shocked Avalon cannot believe that Neo will be her future husband.  Sydney giggles at Avalon's reaction and just says "Cool things have a way of happening." Sydney also came with a little friend, Jasmine.  This is her animal friend, and sort of animal guardian.  So Sydney must help Avalon and everyone with the battle of a life time!

Sailor Rigel's Fuku!

Powers:

"Universal Love Power, Make-Up!": Sydney says this to turn into Sailor Rigel.  Sydney grabs her broach and holds it into the air.  From the broach a spiral sheet of stars comes down over Sydney and puts her fuku on.  She then twirls and looks down with her arms and fingers pointing down.  A "sheet" of stars comes up from her feet and puts on all the other accessories.  She then strikes a pose!

"By the Power I Possess, I Give Thee The Power Of the Animal Language!":  Sydney chants this to let people talk to animals.  She can make is specific or make it in general.  Sydney gives Avalon and everyone this spell to let them talk to Jasmine.  

"Demona Lightning Crystal, Pierce!":  When Sailor Rigel shouts this the sky turns black and a crystal like blade of lightning shoots down onto the enemy.  It will usually wound the enemy badly or sometimes kill them.

"Protection Barrier!":  Sailor Rigel says this as she throws up her arms.  A barrier then forms protecting her and whoever is behind her.

Jasmine:

Jasmine is Sydney 's little gaurdian pet.  She is not an official one for she doesn't have the mark of the cresent moon on her forhead.  Jasmine was given to Sydney by the future Avalon.  Sydney had always wanted a puppy like Sanibel and she finally got one.  Since Sydney could talk to animals it was just like having a real guardian pet.  Although when Sydney comes from the future, she must give Avalon and the others the power to talk to Jasmine. Jasmine is a very spunky little pup that usually gets on Sanibel's and everyone else's nerves.  But in the end everyone loves her.
