Chpt. 2 ~ I'm Seeing Double?!

"AVALON! It's time to get up!" Lina shouted into Avalon's ear. "Come on, you promised we could go shopping. Me and Stella are already up!"

"Mmmphrmm.." Was all Avalon could say. "Waaaa, it's way too early, go back to bed!"

"Are you crazy, it's already 10:00! Get your butt out of bed and join us," Stella said.

"Come on, let me sleep just a little more," Avalon pleaded.

"Nope!" Lina and Stella shouted at the same time. Just then the two of them grabbed Avalon's arms and yanked her out of bed. Avalon tried to stay in the bed but it so happened they all ended up in a heap on the floor. The three all started laughing and Avalon got up to get ready.

"Ooooh! Who's excited to go shopping! I can't wait to see what they all have at the mall," Lina said with a big grin on her face.

"Yah, I want to get a new purse," Stella said.

Ten minutes passed, then twenty, then thirty.

"Avalon! What's taking you so long!?" Stella shouted towards the bathroom.

"Hold on!" Came a voice from the bathroom.

"Jeeze, how long does it take for her to get ready?" Lina questioned.

"I don't know, she's a putts." Stella answered. "If she's not out in five minutes, I'm leaving without her."

Five Minutes Later:

"That's it Avalon! We're leaving!" Stella shouted."No, just wait I'm almost ready!" Avalon shouted out.

"No, it's already been long enough, we'll meet you at the mall," Stella told her.

"But I don't know where I'm going!" Avalon cried. "Guys? Hey guys are you out there?" Avalon dashed out of the bathroom to see they had left. "Ahh! I can't believe they actually left!" Avalon ran around grabbing her shoes and purse and then ran into her room. "Sanibel! Are you coming?" Avalon asked.

"Hmmm? Oh, no, you go and have fun, I'm going to still sleep," Sanibel answered with a yawn.

"Suit your self," And with that Avalon dashed out the door. She ran to the elevator and pushed the 'down' button. "Come on, come on!" Avalon was growing impatient so she ran down the stairs. When she reached the street she could see Lina and Stella walking ahead. Avalon ran up to them as fast as she could. "I can't believe you guys just left!"

"Hey, we gave you fair warning, you should have gotten up earlier," Stella replied.

"You guys are so cruel," Avalon mumbled.

At The Mall:

"Wow, look! I want to go in that store!" Lina pointed and dragged Stella towards it.

"Hey wait! Avalon, we're going to look over there," Stella said.

Avalon in her 'I'm not paying attention cause my mind is somewhere else' state said "Okay."

Ten Minutes Later:

"Hey, where did they go!? What's with them?" Avalon walked around looking for the two. "Oh well, guess I'll just look on my own and meet them back at the apartment."

"Where is that girl?!" Stella said.

"We told her where we were going," Lina said.

"Yah, but I have a feeling that she didn't hear us," Stella said as she looked around. "Oh well, we'll just look around and meet her back at the apartment.

"Well, I think that we've shopped 'til we dropped," Lina said to Stella.

"Yah, I'm really tired, how long did we shop?" Stella asked.

"Um, wow, it's 4:30! We've been here five hours," Lina answered.

"Well, lets head back," Stella suggested. Just then Stella saw Avalon by a group of girls. At least she thought it was Avalon. "Hey, Pumpkin, look! Is that Avalon over there? What did she do to her hair!?" Stella said to Lina.

"Huh, where? Oh my, yah, that's Avalon, but why did she die her hair!?" Lina questioned. "And who are those girls she's talking to?"

"I'm not sure, but Avalon always did make friends easily," Stella answered.

Lina and Stella ran over to Avalon. "Hey! Eva! What were you thinking?" Stella shouted. "Hey! Avalon! Do you hear me!?"

"What, are you talking to me?" Said a girl that looked exactly like Avalon but with blonde hair and blue eyes.

"Yah, of course we are! Avalon, why did you die your hair?" Stella said.

"I'm not Avalon, my name's Serena," Replied the girl.

"Huh? Oh, I'm sorry, we thought you were our friend," Stella told her. "My name's Stella, and this is Lina," Stella said pointing to Lina.

"Hi! Like I said, I'm Serena, and these are my friends, Raye, Amy, Lita, and Mina. It's nice to meet you," Serena said.

"Did you say you were looking for your friend," Lita asked.

"Maybe we could help you look for her, are you new to the area?" Amy said.

"Yah, we are, and that would be great if you could help!" Lina said happily.

"Well girls lets get going, you said she looked like Serena?" Raye asked.

"Yah, exactly alike, but with brown hair and green eyes," Said Lina.

The girls searched for about an hour talking and getting to know each other better. Finally they decided to quit looking and decided to part ways.

"Well, thanks a lot for helping," Stella said.

"No problem," Mina said. "I'm always ready to help someone!"

"I'm glad we met you, now we have some friends around here," Lina said.

"Yah, we should do something tomorrow," Serena suggested.

"That sounds like a good idea," Stella said.

"Okay, why don't we meet at the park downtown," Amy suggested. And with that the girls decided on a time to meet and separated to go home. Lina and Stella talked on the way home about how happy they were to meet new friends and how they couldn't wait to tell Avalon what happened. They finally reached the apartment complex and saw Avalon and Sanibel on their balcony.

"Hey! Eva!" Stella shouted up.

"Hey guys! I got dinner ready!" Avalon shouted down.

Up Stairs:

"Hey Avalon, you're not going to believe what happened to us today," Lina said.

"What, that you ditched your friend and went off and had fun?" Avalon said sarcastically.

"No, loser, we told you where we were going," Stella said.

"No you didn't," Avalon said.

"Yes, we did!" Stella shouted.

"Okay, drop it! Any who, Stella and I were looking for you and we ran into a girl who looked identical to you, but with blonde hair and blue eyes!" Lina told Avalon.

"Yah, we thought you died your hair," Stella explained.

"That's odd," Avalon said.

"Oh, and we're meeting her and her friends tomorrow at the park," Lina filled in.

"Sounds like fun," Avalon said.

The girls ate their dinner and decided to watch TV; afterwards they climbed into bed and dreamt the night away.

"Rise and shine!" Avalon shouted into Lina and Stella's doorway.

"Wa? Avalon, what are you doing up?" Stella questioned.

"Oh, thought I would start the day off nice and early, now GET UP!" Avalon shouted.

"I wanna sleep!" Lina said.

"No way, you did this to me yesterday!" Avalon said as she ran and jumped onto Stella's bed and then to Lina's. "LA LA LA LA! TIME TO GET UP, IT'S A BEAUTIFUL MORING! LA LA LA!" Avalon sung on the top of her lungs.

"Ah! Stop the insanity!" Stella shouted.

"Mmphrmmm, what time is it anyway?" Lina asked.

"9:00, so get up!" Avalon said.

"Ah! We have to meet the girls in a half hour!" Stella shouted as she jumped out of bed to get up.

"Oh, man!" Lina complained as she got up to get ready.

"I doubt she looks 'exactly' like me, it was probably the hair that made you think that," Avalon said.

"No, you don't understand, it was uncanny the way she looked," Lina said.

"Yah, she could be your twin!" Stella added.

"We'll see," Avalon said as she looked up to the clouds.

Sanibel was riding on Avalon's shoulder. 'I have a funny feeling about this.' She thought to herself.

"Hey! Serena!" Lina said as she ran over to the group of girls. Avalon and Stella followed.

"Hey!" She answered back.

"Hi!" Everyone else said.

As Avalon got closer she couldn't believe her eyes, it was like she was looking in the mirror. Serena was thinking the same thing.

"Wow, you guys are identical," Lita commented.

"I can't believe my eyes," Avalon said.

"Me neither," Said Serena.

"Oh my gosh, it's her," Sanibel said.

"It's who?" Lina asked.

"Girls, this is going to be a long story, why don't we find a place to sit down."
