Chapter 4 ~ The First Battle

"Oh Otaru! I do! I do! Of course I'll marry you! I love you so much!" a lady shouted to a man at another table in the restaurant the girls were in.

"That is so sweet," Mina sighed.

"I wanna get married!" Stella said.

"Haha, you have to find a boyfriend first," Lina teased.

"Hey, do any of you have boyfriends?" Stella asked the girls.

"I do!" Serena shouted looking all starry eyed.

"Well, yah, you know in the future you're going to be married, no surprise there," Raye said.

"Hey!" Serena shouted.

Lina and Stella laughed. "Yah, you and Darien right? You two will be the King and Queen of Crystal Tokyo right?" Lina asked.

"Yup! You've got it! Me and my hunky Darien will be happily married and…" Serena trailed off.

"Do the rest of you have boyfriends?" Stella asked the others.

"Um, not really," Lita said.

"Well, Amy and Raye sort of do," Mina replied.

"WHAT ARE YOU TALKING ABOUT!?" Both Amy and Raye shouted.

"Haha, calm down. Just kidding," Lita said to the girls. She then whispered into Stella's ear, "Actually I'm not kidding."

Stella smiled to herself.

"What did you just say to her!?" Raye shouted at Lita.

"Nothing, nothing!" Lita laughed.

The girls went on gossiping and talking having lots of fun in the process…

"Ick! Look at that couple, all full with love. I'll just have to do something about that!" A girl said. A little glowing orb suddenly appeared in her hand and she threw it toward the couple that just got engaged. The ball absorbed into the engagement ring on the lady.

…"So anyway…" Mina was saying.

"I HATE YOU! I'M NEVER GETTING MARRIED TO YOU!" The lady shouted to her fiancé. She then got up and started to smash all the silverware and plates onto the ground. "AHHHHH!"

"Honey! What's the matter!?" Her fiancé said worriedly.

"I HATE YOU! I HATE YOU!" She shouted as she continued to destroy the place.

By this time most of the people got up and ran out of the restaurant.

"What is going on!?" Raye asked.

"This is really really weird!" Lina said.

"You guys, look at her eyes, they look like they're glowing, and she's got two scar like marks under her left eye!" Stella told the others.

"You're right!" Amy said. "Let me analyze this." Amy got out her little computer and zoomed in on the lady. "Oh my! She's being possessed!"

"All right girls! You know what we need to do!" Serena shouted.

"Moon Eternal Power, Make Up!"

"Mars Crystal Power, Make Up!"

"Mercury Crystal Power, Make Up!"

"Jupiter Crystal Power, Make Up!"

"Venus Crystal Power, Make Up!"

"Uh oh, we better get Avalon here and transform!" Lina told Stella.

"Capella Star Power, Make Up!"

"Stella! Wait, we need to get Eva!" Lina shouted.

All the girls but Lina transformed. "I can now teleport and get Avalon, silly" Stella explained to Lina.

"Oh yah! Ha, I forgot about that, it's been so long since we've transformed," Lina said.

"Are you girls coming?" Sailor Moon asked.

"Yah! You get a head start, we'll be right there!" Sailor Capella shouted back. "Hurry up and transform Lina, I'll be right back with Eva and Sani!" Right after she said that Capella disappeared.

"Corona Star Power, Make Up!" Lina was transformed into Sailor Corona and went off to help Sailor Moon and the others with the battle.

"Oh Sani…" Avalon started to say.

All of a sudden there was a bright light and Sailor Capella dropped into the room.

"Ah! Stella! What are you doing!?" Avalon shouted in shock.

"No time to talk, there is a battle going on and we need you!!!" Stella shouted at her. "Now hurry up and transform!"

"Right! Universal Love Power, Make Up!!!"

"Universal Puppy Power, Make Up!"

Both Avalon and Sanibel were transformed into their senshi state.

"Now take my hands and concentrate!" Sailor Capella ordered. In a matter of seconds the girls and dog were teleported back to the battle.

"Venus! Love and Beauty Shock!" The lady just dodged the attack. "Damn! She's too quick!"

"Jupiter! Oak Evolution!" The leaves shot at the lady and a couple hit her knocking her to the ground.

"Now Sailor Moon!" Mercury shouted.

"Right, " Sailor Moon shouted. "Starlight Honeymoon Therapy Kiss!" The healing spell surrounded the lady but nothing happened. "What? Why didn't…?"

"Ha ha ha ha!!! You think that will help her, you've got to be joking!" A girl dressed in sailor fuku said.

"Who are you!?" Sailor Corona asked.

"Hm, I'm Yume, Sailor of Hate!" She said with a sneer.

"Are you doing this!?" Sailor Mercury asked.

"What if I am?" Yume laughed.

"AHHH!" Sailor Venus shouted. The lady has gotten a hold of her and had her in a tight grip around the neck.

"Venus!" Sailor Moon Shouted.

Suddenly a rose shot through the air and cut the lady's hand who screamed in pain and let Venus go.

"Tuxedo Mask!" Sailor Moon shouted.

"Thanks a bunch!" Venus thanked him.

The girls continued to fight.

"Hey, Eva. There's got to be another source that's causing this lady to be possessed. I don't think it's just her heart that's being possessed," Sailor Capella said to Sailor Avalon.

"You're right!" Sailor Corona said. She ran up to Mercury. "Sailor Mercury, get your computer out and look for another source that's causing her possession," Corona told Mercury.

"Okay!" Mercury scanned the lady and pinpointed on her engagement ring. "Found it! It's her engagement ring!" Mercury shouted.

"Alright! We have to aim for the engagement ring! Go for it Sailor Moon!" Sailor Avalon shouted to the others.

"Ha ha ha! Sailor Moon's attack won't work on that demon!" Yume laughed.

"She could be lying, try it Sailor Moon!" Tuxedo Mask yelled.

"Starlight Honeymoon Therapy Kiss!!! " Sailor Moon shouted as the attack flew towards the ring. Again nothing happened.

"Damn it! Why isn't anything happening!?" Sailor Mars cursed.

"Want a little hint?" Yume asked. "That silly senshi over there will be able to destroy it," she said pointing at Avalon.

"What do we have to loose? I'm going for it! Eternal Life Power, Make Up!" Sailor Avalon said as she powered up and made her wand appear. "Life Scepter Healing….!"

"I wouldn't be to hasty if I were you…If you use that attack the ring will disappear for good, and the poor little lady won't have her beloved engagement ring. And knowing that her fiancé probably won't want to marry her anymore! Hahaha!" Yume laughed harder than ever.

"No! That can't happen!" Sailor Moon shouted.

"There has got to be another way," Jupiter said.

"That's the funny part, there is no other way!" Yume said.

"It's the ring or her life!" Avalon shouted.

"No, you can't get rid of the ring!" Sailor Moon and Tuxedo Mask both shouted. (They both knew how important in symbolism it was.)

"That ring is not my problem, her life is! I have no other choice…Life Scepter Healing…TOUCH!!!" Avalon shouted and the attack flew to the ring. The lady screamed in horror and the ring disappeared in a puff of black smoke.

"AHHHHH! My ring! You sailor brats will pay!!!" The lady shouted.

"Sailor Moon, it's your turn now!" Sailor Sani told her.

"Starlight Honeymoon Therapy Kiss!" Sailor Moon's attack finally worked. The lady's eyes went back to normal and she fainted to the ground.

"Ha ha ha ha!!! This has been fun, I can't wait to play with you guys again!" Yume said as she disappeared.

"How could you!?!" Sailor Moon shouted in Sailor Avalon's face. "There could have been another way! Why listen to that devil girl!?"

"How long did you want the lady to be possessed having the life drained out of her!?!" Avalon shouted back.

"You're no better than Yume!" Sailor Moon said with tears in her eyes.

Sailor Avalon raised her hand and slapped Sailor Moon across the face. "What did you just say!? Snap out of it! It was a RING!"

"It meant so much to her…" Serena cried.

"Who are you three any way!?" Tuxedo Mask asked. "For all we know you're working with Yume!"

"Are you crazy we're sailors like you!!" Sailor Capella shouted.

Sailor Avalon turned to walk away.

"Yume was also a sailor! We can't trust you! Especially after you hit Sailor Moon!" Tuxedo Mask jumped from his place with cane in hand ready to hit Sailor Avalon.

"Eva!!! Look out!" Sailor Corona shouted.

Avalon couldn't protect herself in time…

…CLASH!!!

"Huh?" Avalon looked up and her eyes began to tear up…"Neo!?"
